Posting and Payment

NEW CUSTOMERS may be asked to pay in advance, while existing customers in the UK and airmail customers abroad are asked to pay on receipt of books, adding the value of the postage at cost. Overseas customers whose books are sent by surface mail are asked to pay when they receive their email invoice.

Please pay promptly.  We can take cheques, bank transfers or Paypal payments (see below for Paypal). We generally send parcels by the cheapest method, unless requested otherwise. Parcels of books valued at more than £25 will be sent by signed for or insured post  The cost of postage is in addition to the price of the books.  If you haven’t received your parcel within a couple of weeks, please let us know, as there is a limited time in which to claim for lost parcels. 

PAYMENT BY PAYPAL We are happy to accept payment by Paypal from customers outside the EU. We ask for a small extra amount to cover the Paypal fees: 50 p for the first ten pounds, and then 25p per five pounds above that. If you are in the UK or EU and would like to pay by Paypal, please contact us. 

RETURNS

Please note that returned books can ONLY be accepted if they are not as described.  We can’t take returns for any other reason, so please don’t order books unless you want them!  (And if you order the same book from both of us, be prepared to receive two copies!) If you want to check whether or not you already have a book, we will usually be happy to hold books for a while to allow you time to check.
